Other Uses

Nanotechnology is an interdisciplinary field with substances in biology, chemistry, physics and engineering all being studied at the nanoscale.

At this scale, materials possess radically different physico-chemical properties and altering the structure of a nanoparticle can alter its functionality.
Although often difficult to predict, it is the unique properties of nanomaterials that science is looking to harness for a range of dramatically different applications. To date nanotechnology has been used in the creation of sunscreens, self cleaning glass, antimicrobial bandages and medical devices to name but a few.

NanoHex hopes to demonstrate how the unique thermal properties of nanofluids may benefit any industry requiring thermal management by applying it to both data centre and power electronics industry.
